The Missouri S&T Pep Band, can be seen at every men's and women's home basketball game in our loose fitting hockey jerseys (for greater freedom of movement when cheering). This ensemble is entirely student led and directed. Widely considered to be the most notorious pep band in the GLVC conference, and formerly of the MIAA conference, we entertain the crowd, players, and referees alike. Sorry, but you can't take pep band for credit. You also have to have been enrolled in another ensemble during the year, or be currently enrolled in one to play in the pep band. This is because the pep band only rehearses a few times at the start of the season. After that, you're on your own to maintain the quality of your musicianship.
